Benefit at Boondocks for New Beginnings on Sunday
Women rule the Boondocks Lounge on Sunday as it hosts the second annual Goddess Gumbo benefit concert.
The evening will raise money for New Beginnings, an organization that helps get homeless women and children off the streets.
A wide cross-section local women performers, including Nancy McCallion, Lisa Otey, Namoli Brennet, Jo Wilkinson and the Silver Thread Trio, will perform.
The evening begins at 5 p.m. Admission is $10."
